Gainsborough Chair

Built at the end of the 15th Century, Gainsborough Old Hall in Lincolnshire is one of the best-preserved medieval manor homes in England today. Celebrated for its visits from King Richard III and King Henry VIII, the property is framed from wood and it's truly remarkable that major sections have survived to the 21st century.

Just as the Gainsborough Old Hall was built to survive centuries, our office chair has been created with longevity in mind, too. read more

Product Description

Hand-constructed on a beech wood frame and covered with serpentine springs and sufficient padding, the chair here has been upholstered in antiqued gold leather. As with all our models, the upholstery is available in any of our signature antiqued, premium or deluxe leathers, with the four-legged chair of the non-swivel dining chair variety.

Choose from our House or Vintageleathers and the chair is also available in a four legged non-swivel dining chair variety. You can also opt for details including a hand-covered button-tufted back, hand-hammered brass studs and French-polished carved mahogany arms.

Updated with a gas tilt height adjustment swivel and casters for ease of movement, this is a luxurious chair that is as majestic as it is sturdy. Seen here in Vintage Rosewood, the standard configuration for this item is bronze renaissance studs and mahogany stain.
