Knowing We’re on the Street Where You Live!

Anyone who reads our blog regularly will know we recently ran a competition open to bloggers. The competition urged entrants to review their favourite novel on their blog for the chance of winning a wing back chair (worth over £900), as well as £100 book vouchers, and more. We called it the Ultimate Reader’s Prize, and we received a whole host of entries into our inbox. So many entries, in fact, that we struggled to pick a winner, and ended up rewarding two runner up prizes.

Cathy was the lucky recipient of one runner up prize, thanks to this post on her blog. She reviewed the book ‘Incompetence’ in such a way that made most of the Distinctive Chesterfields office team want to read it too.

As a reward for her great entry, we sent Cathy a £50 Amazon voucher to spend as she wished. With it, she purchased some gravel and transformed her garden into the beautifully green haven you see below. There’s a lovely story to accompany this transformation, too – simply head over here to view it.

Cathy was thrilled to be able to put the finishing touches to her garden, and was thrilled to have been able to treat herself and her garden to the new gravel. What was more surprising, though, was the lovely treat she gave us here at Distinctive Chesterfields.

As a thank you for sending the voucher, she only went and named her brand new garden after us! We are absolutely thrilled.
