Lace has always been popular with our Grandmas (and any traditionalists amongst you), but not since the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out of her wedding car wearing that dress has it been quite so on trend. It’s been popping up on the style catwalks, in homes and elsewhere, and for autumn and winter 2013 especially it’s a hit in the world of decor.
Lace curtains are probably one of the easiest ways to incorporate the trend into your home. If you’re handy with a sewing machine, they can take less than an hour to produce, and they provide a feminine and traditional look to any room.

And if you’re really going to embrace the lace trend, no dining table would be complete without a lace tablecloth or table runner.
