Today’s Children in Need here in the UK! If you’re reading this from across the pond, the annual event sees the nation raise much-needed funds for disadvantaged children both in the UK and abroad. And here in the Distinctive Chesterfields office we’re getting involved by tucking into a mountain of cakes (see below), all at £1 a slice.
Our office accountant is channeling Gareth Keenan from TV’s The Office by hopping around the room, from his desk to the photocopier, desk to shredder, and so forth. He says this somehow makes him exempt from making everyone a brew, but we don’t agree…
Children in Need is a charity close to our hearts so we’ll continue to dig deep throughout the day to raise as much money as possible.
Next month (December) we’re asking you to help terminally ill children here in the UK by supporting our charity auction to get your hands on a Chesterfield sofa, as seen on the X Factor and signed by the contestants.
