Drummond Suite

Drummond Castle in Perthshire, Scotland is known for its imposing stone architecture as well as its more formal French and Italian designed gardens. This Drummond suite is reminiscent of both. It has a strong sturdy base with more gently curving arms similar to our signature suite, the Blenheim.

Shown here in our top of the line deluxe arabica aniline leather, you may have this traditional suite in any of our antique, premium or deluxe leather coverings. You also may have one of our in-house designers find you a different selection or you may use a fabric of your own choosing.

The Drummond suite comes in four sizes, a club chair, a 2 seat love seat or 3 or 4 seat couch. The suite comes packaged as either: a loveseat and a 3 seat couch; two 3 seat couches or a 3 seat couch and two chairs. As we build to order, please contact us personally for any other combination.

This suite has the hand made underpinnings that we are famous for including the beech wood frame and 8-way hand tied coil springs. We have altered the seat to a superior padded cushion as our customers demanded and made it even more comfortable than before. With the outline of polished studs accenting the base and the curve of the arm, this truly is a magnificent piece of fine furniture. Finishing touches of glowing mahogany feet on top of rolling brass casters, the Drummond suite would look stunning in any room in your house.

2. Select leather style & colour

All our Chesterfield sofas and chairs are available to buy in three distinctly different leathers - antique leather, premuim leather and hand dyed leather - all of which are selected for their consistent thickness and texture, have their own individual finish and come in a variety of colours.

Antique Leather

Our standard leather range that is blacked prior to being applied and hand rubbed upon completion to remove the black and reveal the colour underneath. The leather is hand sealed to protect the surface and produces an authentic antiqued appearance.

Premium Leather

Our luxurious leather range, the leather has a finer grain and is pre-treated with a special blend of natural finishing products for a supple appearance. It has a semi-distressed and textured finish that creates a 'pull up' effect that subtly changes the colour of the leather as it contours around the shape of the sofa.

Deluxe Leather

Our individual leather range that is finished using traditional methods, it is vegetable tanned and hand dyed by a professional leather worker before being sealed. It has a rich and deep colour over a fine grained leather that is soft and supple, and will improve with age to develop its own characteristic patina over the years.

Please note, although every care is taken to match hides where more than one is required to upholster a piece, there maybe a slight colour variation. These leathers also have natural blemishes and marks, and will fade if exposed to sunlight.
