Burghley Suite
Burghley House, with its over 35 main rooms and 80 peripheral rooms, in Lincolnshire, England was constructed during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I and is one of the grandest homes of the Tudor period. If you look at the simple curved line of the joined back and arm, you can picture this suite ensconced in one of those many entertainment rooms with royalty delicately seated upon her while listening to an evening’s musical performance.
This Burghley suite has been built to last over the centuries. Starting with the strong beech wood frame and support with hand tied springs covered in layers of soft padding, today’s comfort is assured.
The Burghley suite comes in four sizes, a club chair, a 2 seat love seat or 3 or 4 seat couch. The suite comes packaged as either: a loveseat and a 3 seat couch; two 3 seat couches or a 3 seat couch and two chairs. As we build to order, please contact us personally for any other combination.
It is embellished with complete studding accenting the long seat as well as the arched crested back along with fine polished mahogany legs. The Burghley suite is a lovely addition to any living room or office.
